Restricting airflow and causing possible problems with the water pump and other components. As a result - less cooling efficiency throughout the house.
In general, all manufacturers recommend performing maintenance every 2-3 years. This procedure will help your Cooler continue to operate efficiently. The best time to carry out service is just before the summer season by a qualified and licensed service technician.

Filter Pads
With Celdek Pads average lifespan is at least 10-12 years from the day of installation, if maintained regular. This can vary with water quality and local conditions.
In most cases, mould and mud formed within the pads over the years can be washed away, considering the high cost of the filter pads replacement, unless they are damaged or disintegrated there is no reason to replace them.
Our licenced and experienced Technicians will determine if the pads on your evaporative cooler are due for replacement and provide the best possible advice.
Filter pads are available upon order as they are cut to size. We can provide fast new replacement filter pads for most evaporative cooling brands and models.
WARNING: With any filter pad, failure to replace evaporative cooling pads when they are past their useful life may result in reduced efficiency/performance of the air conditioner. Also water may carry over into the ductwork and/or electrics, which may result in expensive damage and repairs.
